Professional Voice Actor - Italian

About the Role

We're looking for experienced Italian voice actors and voice-over professionals to record high-quality audio and evaluate AI-generated speech — helping next-generation AI systems sound more natural, expressive, and human.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for working voice professionals. No AI background needed — just a trained voice, a professional setup, and a sharp ear for quality.

Important: This role does not involve voice cloning of any kind. Your recordings are used solely to help train and evaluate AI speech systems.

What You'll Do

• Record professional-grade Italian voice audio using a large diaphragm microphone (LDM), following provided scripts and prompts
• Evaluate AI-generated Italian speech for natural flow, pronunciation accuracy, emotional tone, and overall quality
• Provide clear, structured, and actionable feedback to help improve synthesized voice outputs
• Review scripts and suggest adjustments to improve clarity and ensure authentic, natural-sounding delivery
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Experienced in voice acting, narration, audiobook recording, or related performance-based audio work
• Native or near-native fluency in Italian with a strong command of natural spoken delivery
• Equipped with a high-quality large diaphragm microphone and a quiet, acoustically controlled recording space
• Able to deliver engaging, expressive, and well-articulated vocal performances consistently
• Detail-oriented when evaluating tone, clarity, pronunciation, and emotional nuance
• No prior AI experience required

Nice to Have

• Background in broadcast, dubbing, commercial voice-over, or audiobook narration
• Experience evaluating or directing voice performances in a studio or remote setting
• Familiarity with regional Italian accents and dialectal variation
• Prior work with audio quality assessment or script editing
